Brian and Abigail Meet and Greet Sutton's Residents

12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Sat 19th Apr 2008

The Liberal Democrat Mayoral Candidate Brian Paddick and Abigail Lock, the Liberal Democrat Candidate for the Sutton and Croydon London Assembly Constituency joined Tom Brake MP for another walkabout in Sutton High Street on Saturday afternoon.

Brian and Abigail, both of whom have deep local roots, were warmly received by shoppers in spite of the inclement weather.

The prospects for the Lib Dems in Sutton on the 1st May are excellent with the most recent test of political opinion - the Council by-election in the safe Conservative seat of Cheam - pointing to growing support for the Lib Dems in Sutton.

Brian will be returning to the London Borough of Sutton on Tuesday with a visit to Hackbridge.
