Paul Burstow, Member of Parliament for Sutton and Cheam.
Paul Burstow MP is running the 'Save Our St Helier' Campaign, against cuts and closures at the Hospital. Since a decision by Patricia Hewitt in August not to recommend St Helier as the site for a new hi-tech hospital, fears have been growing for the future of the hospital. In October, the Trust which runs the Hospital announced hundreds of bed closures and nearly 500 job cuts at St Helier. In November, Paul was one of the leaders of a march attended by over 2,000 people.
